Setting Up and Using Rooms
Note that using rooms will not stop you from double booking a room. It provides room view and guidance for students where to go but is not designed to stop you from booking the same room multiple times in the same time slot.
Creating Rooms
After you’ve enabled “class rooms” system wide go to “global settings” ⇾ “Categories” and select “class rooms” from the drop down. This will display the current list of class rooms available. Click “new category” to add a new room or click the pencil icon to edit an existing room.
Scheduling Rooms
When creating each type of class or lesson you can add a room that you created in “categories”. In each class creation you’ll click on the “room” drop down to select the room to be displayed.
Multi Class Creation
Room is located under the date range.
Single Class Creation
Room is located under the time towards the bottom.
Private Lesson Creation
Select the room directly under the class type.
Editing Room on EXISTING Class Schedule
From the daily view, select “edit schedule” to open the edit window.
In the edit window, change the room assignment which is located under the season selection at the top. Click save.
Viewing Rooms on Calendars
If “Class Rooms” are enabled they will ALWAYS show up on the Class list.
Calendar View for Staff.
Turn on the “global setting” ⇾ “calendar” to “show class rooms” on the calendar views for all staff.
Staff views look as follows:
Online Client View
For rooms to show up on the student schedule and online client, turn on that option under “global settings” ⇾ “online client”
Will appear on online client after location.
